Stand near the correct station. Recipe difficulty affects success chance; it is not a minimum-skill lock, and attempts can raise the skill.

Prototype Guide

This is a classless skill game. Skills rise by doing them, with a total cap of 700.0. In Skills, tap the arrow beside a skill: ↑ gain, • lock, ↓ lower when another skill needs room at the cap.

Mining: several grey rocky outcrops are just northeast of town, with larger mountain deposits farther north. Each vein yields roughly 2–6 ore plus an occasional skill bonus before respawning.

Lumberjacking: a larger starter woodlot begins just west of town, with a forest beyond it. Each tree yields roughly 3–8 logs plus an occasional skill bonus before respawning.

Fishing: stand beside water and click it. Rare catches can include sealed treasure charts in five levels.

Blacksmithing: begin at 10 skill by smelting your mined ore at the town forge. Recipe difficulty is a challenge rating, not a requirement.

Carpentry: turn logs into boards and make bows/shields at the workbench.

Tailoring: old boots can be sold or cut into leather. Use leather at the tailor's table in town to make simple armor. Cotton and cloth are reserved for a later expansion.

Combat: approach a creature and click it. Sword and tactics improve through fighting. Magic Bolt spends mana and trains Magery.

Meditation: press M or use Meditate in the Skills tab when mana is missing. Meditation restores mana, can gain through use, and improves passive mana regeneration at higher skill.

Death: V1 uses a forgiving shrine resurrection. Corpse retrieval is reserved for the next pass.
